Note from the Editor: New Design

I just updated the blog design. I have realized for some time that reading white text on a black background has a disorienting and unsettling optokinetic effect (at least for me). I think the new design is much easier on the eyes. Besides, there are books in the background. Have you ever seen an interview with an academic in which s/he wasn't seated in front of a bunch of intimidating tomes? I rest my case.
