More Evidence against the Passive Voice

This post is more than seven months late, but I wanted to get it out, regardless.

For those who would argue against me about the passive voice, think about how many other news organizations wrote this headline:

Admittedly, this could have been because there was simply no information yet about the shooter. However, it stands nonetheless as evidence about what the passive voice hides.
