Taking a Knee, Genuflecting, or Knee-slapping?

So, it's OK to go to the ground in the NFL if it is in prayer but not if it is in celebration? There is a lot of contradiction in the beliefs of professional athletes--as there are with people in general, especially in the US--but as an organization, the NFL seems to be making some odd, if not expected, choices.
